Installing VCam™

VCam™ is a virtual software camera, which simulates a web cam capturing a selected area or window on the desk top. Cetan Nagin uses e2eSoft VCam™ to frame a html web page ("http://127.0.0.1/CellPhone.php") specifically designed for viewing  on the iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch.  The remote iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch software can be installed on ether the computer hosting the Cetan Nagin Remote Radio Control Program or a  second computer accessing the XAMPP web server installed the computer hosting the Cetan Nagin Remote Radio Control Program.

Down load the latest version (free trial) of the e2eSoft VCam at http://www.e2esoft.cn/downloads.asp.  When you purchase the VCam product  the e2eSoft logo occasionally popping up will stop.

Save VCam Installation File


Click on the "Start" button to start the downloading of the VCam installer file..

Download Installation exe To The "downloads" Folder


Save the VCam installer exe file in the "c:\downloads\" file directory.

VCam exe Download Completed


Coffee time until the DynDNS client program is downloaded. VCam  installer exe file download is completed.


Select VCam exe To Start Installation

  • Navigate to "c:\downloads\" with windows explorer (click on Computer in Start Popup Window.
  • Double Click on the version of  VCam you just download to start VCam installation.

Click on "Ok" to start the installation of VCam.


Windows Haggle

Click on "Run" to skip window exe protection haggle.



VCam Installation Started


Click on "Next" to start installing VCam.

License Agreement


Click on "I accept the agreement" to start (who reads the licensing agreements - may I have mine in  Swahili  please).



Accept License Agreement


Click on "Next" button to accept the licensing agreement.

VCam Program Directory Location


Do not change the destination directory location.  Click on "Next" button.

Start Menu Shortcuts


Click "Next>" button to install a short cut in the start menu folder. Do not change anything on this window.





Desktop Icon


Click on "Next" button to create a Desktop Icon.

Install VCam To Program Directory


Click on "Install" button to start installing the VCam program. Do not change anything on this window.

VCam Installation Complete


Click "Finish" button to complete VCam installation.  Do not uncheck "Launch e2eSoft VCam" Check box.  We want to run the program now to make sure we open the incoming windows firewall properly.

VCam - Un-Block Firewall


Click on "Unblock" button to complete the opening of the fire wall ports associated with VCam.

You now have completed the installation of VCam.  Do not forget to initialize both the iCam and VCam programs.  Click "index_icam_vcam_int.htm" to start initialization sequence.
