The Shadow Hawk's Database Miner software has been removed from the open, downloadable, demonstration to prevent problems with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which together govern the export of both defense-related and commercial products.
The objective of the Shadow Hawk's Database Miner is to help intelligence analysts see valuable connections between pieces of apparently unrelated,
hidden, and deceptive information by applying link-analysis technology. The Shadow Hawk data miner provides the ability to sift through data and make inferences from the data connections created by the Shadow Hawk surveillance radio receivers.
